Are the courses only online or there are also face to face meetings?
Depending on each course, you may be also required to have face to face meetings. These meetings mainly take place at the beginning of the course and during the final exam (depending on the course).
In what languages are the courses taught?
All courses of KASA are taught in Armenian. Some courses may include materials in English, but the main content is in Armenian.
How much does it cost to enroll in a course?
Each course has its own price. For information on the prices, please refer to the Courses section.
When does each course begin?
All “free” courses are open, anyone can enroll anytime. The paid courses have specific dates, which can found in Students section by referring to the course you are interested in.
Is there a final exam?
All courses have a final assessment or an exam.
Are there any assignments?
Yes, there are. Each course includes a number of assignments - a project or a quiz. In addition, some courses may require work on a specific project or presentation, which will be your final assessment. Based on that assessment you will also receive the certificate.
How do I get answers to questions related to a course?
There is a technical forum in each course, where you can ask all your technical questions concerning each course. Besides, each module in the course has a discussion forum where you can address all your questions concerning the course content.
How do you award the certificates of completion?
The certificates are awarded based on successful completion of projects and/or assignment. Each course has specific requirements for completion.
What are the technical requirements for using the KASA e-Learning platform?
BROWSER
- An up-to-date version of any browser, Chrome or Firefox is strongly recommended.
- At this time, mobile browsers are not supported.
INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
- High-speed connections are preferable (minimum 4 Mbps); slower connections should allow users to view most materials.
OPERATING SYSTEM
- PC: Windows XP or higher
- Mac: OS X 10.6 or higher
Linux: Any recent distribution that has the supported browsers installed
